Agreement to Terms

1. Youi Pty Ltd (Youi) will automatically enter individuals who meet the Eligibility Requirements into the Competition. If you are a winner, by accepting a Prize, you are deemed to be bound by these Terms.
2. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Youi as final and binding as they relate to this Competition.

Competition

3. Youi is running a promotion (State of Origin Customer Ticket Giveaway or Competition) from 00:00 AEST Monday 29 April 2024 to 23:59 AEST Sunday 5 May 2024 (Promotion Period).
4. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the outcome.

Eligibility 

1. are over 18 years of age;
2. are not an employee of Youi;
3. have an active Youi policy (excluding CTP policies) for an asset or business located in either the state of Queensland (QLD), New South Wales (NSW) or Victoria (VIC); (Eligible Policy); and
4. are subscribed to receive Youi marketing communications. (Eligibility Requirements).

6. Persons who meet the Eligibility Requirements (Entrants) will receive one entry per Eligible Policy. The primary policy holder is the Entrant.
7. Where it becomes apparent that Entrants do not meet the Eligibility Requirements, they will be disqualified at Youi’s sole discretion.
8. Entrants must continue to meet all Eligibility Requirements on the Draw Date to be eligible to win a Prize.
9. If Youi reasonably forms the opinion that an Entrant has used fraudulent methods or otherwise attempted to circumvent these Terms, Youi may, in its sole discretion, deem any entry of that Entrant ineligible to win a Prize.
10. If an Entrant is entered into the Competition but does not wish to participate, the Entrant may email promotions@youi.com with their full name, email address and policy number/s that they would like removed from the Competition.

Prizes

11. There are 15 Prizes in total to be won. A Prize is a double pass ticket to a single 2024 State of Origin match as specified by Youi. There are 5 double passes available for each of the 3 2024 State of Origin matches.
12. Entrants will only be eligible to win a Prize that correlates to the asset state noted in their Eligible Policy in accordance with the below table.

13. The total prize pool is $8,875 AUD.
14. A Prize is not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash but is transferable.
15. Each Prize winner is responsible for all expenses not specified in these Terms, including transport to and from the game, accommodation, meals, drinks and all other ancillary costs.  

Draws & Winner Notification

16. There will be three (3) draws; one (1) for each relevant eligible policy location (NSW, VIC & QLD). Prize winners will be drawn at random by Youi at 2 Smart Drive, Sippy Downs, Queensland 4556 at 10:00 AEST Tuesday 07 May 2024 (Draw Date).
17. Each winner will be notified by phone and email within two (2) business days of the draw and advertised on the Youi website (www.youi.com.au) within two (2) business days of the draw. When publishing the winners’ details, each winner’s first name, first letter of surname and asset state may be included. The winner will also be notified directly by telephone and/or email where further contact information and details may be requested in order to verify the winner including, but not limited to, full name, phone number, email address, residential address and policy number (Verifying Information). At Youi’s discretion, Youi may deal with any authorised person noted on the relevant winning Eligible Policy to obtain the Verifying Information.
18. Winners must claim their Prize by contacting Youi before 16:00 AEST Friday 10 May 2024 and providing the Verifying Information as requested by email at promotions@youi.com or by phone on 139684.
19. Prizes will be provided electronically to the email address nominated on winners’ policy contact details.
20. If a winner cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, or fails to claim the Prize by 16:00 AEST Friday 10 May 2024, the Prize will be forfeited and the relevant Prize will be re-awarded as if the discarded entry had not been received. If required, an unclaimed prize draw will occur 10:00 Monday 13 May 2024 at the same location as the original draw (Unclaimed Prize Draw). The Unclaimed Prize Draw winners will be published on Tuesday 14 May 2024 on Youi’s website (www.youi.com.au) and the winners will be notified via phone and/or email on the same day as the unclaimed prize draw.
21. The decision of Youi in determining the winners or any other matter under its control will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
22. Should an Entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the Entrant’s responsibility to notify Youi.
23. Youi will have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices from Youi for any reason including if the failure is due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or if the failure is due to a winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.
24. Youi takes no responsibility for the tickets once delivered to the winner.

Limitation of Liability

25. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act 2001 (Cth) in Australia, or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Youi excludes all liability except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, for any direct, indirect or consequential injury, loss and/or damage arising in any way in connection with the Competition or any Prize.
26. Where permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Youi and its Employees, officers, and directors from any liability, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from:

1. your participation in the Competition and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any Prize or portion of the Prize;
2. technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment;
3. the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or internet service;
4. unauthorised human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; and
5. electronic or human error in the administration of the Competition or the processing of entries.

Other Information

27. Subject to relevant laws, Youi reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend the Competition at any time without notice for any reason or no reason.
28. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders Youi’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms, Youi may in its absolute discretion cancel, suspend or modify the Competition or recommence the Competition from the start on the same Terms, subject to any written directions given under State Regulation.
29. Youi reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
30. Youi will use and take care of any personal information supplied to it in accordance with its privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen here.
31. Entrant’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
32. Winners who accept a Prize may also be requested to:

1. take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation; and
2. use their voice, image, quotes and/or photograph for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by Youi and its related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without compensation or prior notice.

33. This Competition is in no way sponsored or administered by the National Rugby League.
34. This Competition is governed by the laws of Queensland.
35. When referred to in these Terms:

1. The promoter is Youi Pty Ltd (ACN 123 074 733) of registered address 2 Smart Drive, Sippy Downs, Queensland 4556 and contact number of 13 96 84.
2. A time reference is a reference to AEST (Brisbane local time).
3. Any reference to dollars ($) is to Australian dollars.
